Meet your Facilitators!
Meet Cindy, the founder of Caring Critter Connections, a traveling animal education program that helps children build empathy, emotional awareness, and kindness through hands-on experiences with animals. With over 40 years of experience, Cindy is a former Animal Control Officer of 14 years, owned and operated her own boarding kennel for 29 years, and bred and showed Shetland Sheepdogs. She holds an associates degree in Veterinary Science, worked in an emergency veterinary hospital, and is certified in wildlife rehabilitation. Motivated by both her professional experience and a powerful moment witnessing animal cruelty, Cindy now brings rabbits, tortoises, snakes, and more to schools and community events—offering a safe, meaningful way for children to learn compassion.
